About the Chef:
Chef Marlen of Apricot Sun grew up in Amman, Jordan, in a family of food lovers. Her father, a true flavor-master, toasted and ground his own seasoning blends, while her mother transformed those flavors into unforgettable meals.
After moving to the United States, Marlen pursued formal training in food science, earning her Master’s degree in Food Science. She went on to work with Fortune 500 food companies including Nestlé, ConAgra, and Weston Foods, where she refined her expertise in flavor development and food innovation.
Eventually, Marlen took a leap of faith to start Apricot Sun, bringing together her heritage, science-driven approach, and love for bold, joyful cooking. This class brings that philosophy to life, bold, approachable food you’ll want to make again and again.
